Getting high Knock on scan guage Help!!

Hey Everyone

I Have a 1998 Grand Prix gtp and when i have the car at WOT i get knock
at normaly around 3* but it spikes to 10* at shift points , could anyone tell
me what could be causing some of this .

My car has The 5Gen supercharger, overkill pcm, fenderwell intake , SS intercooler, PLOG, downpipe, high flow cat, autolites, 180thermo ,3.3 pulley, 3.5 pulley

am running the 3.3 pulley at the moment and am getting this kind of knock , i thought i would be running next to none with this set up and intercooler

I put back on the 3.5 and my car still had knock but not as much any idea what could be causing it

I Run 91 oct or higher all the time

Bad tune or bad gas usually.

I had the PCM tuned custom by overkill , do you think it could still be causeing the problem? also gas is always 91 oct + , could it be that cold weather is bringing on this knock?

I was having 5* knock on my setup before the custom tune. Maybe some more exhaust work would help you.

It was Not a mail order and was completely custom to the mods i have at the this time it was done by Will at overkill , the only thing that is slighty weird with the car is the idle the car surges at idle when its cold for a good 10 min reving from 800rpm to 1500rpm back and forth. once in gear it goes away and is unnoticable

Not sure if this is tune related or mabye even a possible vaccume leak
even if it was a vaccume leak witch i dont think it is would that cause KR?

think its time to upsize pulleys?
would the colder dense air this time year cause this?

dono is it helps but my MPG is pretty bad even driving sensibly around 16 mixed MPG

your o2 sensor is probly bad or a vacume leak but a 02 sensor would throw off a tune
