Wanting to install an Aux input on my Factory Single Disc CD Player w/ Equalizer. I have heard and seen where some have integrated an input by utilizing a GM Cassette deck or hardwiring into the OEM Cassette Player w/ equalizer. I'm thinking there has got to be a way to do this with a Single Disc Player. Do not want to use an FM Modulator as I want to hardwire and utilize the factory unit. Want to be MP3/Ipod capable.

You realize your sound quality will suffer? I can't help you with the harness wiring but I can give you a bit of advice for when you figure out how to do that. Wire the ground DIRECTLY to the chassis. Try to use 12-14 gauge also for the ground. It will eliminate so many common issues with an added device such as static, clipping and a short.
As many times as I've installed these Dee looks like he might have beat me to the chase. As we all know there are different ways of integrating a Sirius Radio to you OEM head unit. This was one way I had forgot about. Thanks Dee. Anyone see why this would'nt work? The one I'm referring to is the "FM Direct Adapter".
He used a relay to switch between the CD player and the aux input. You have to tap into the wires that go from the CD player to the main board of the head unit. Have fun!

Thanks for the link. That's a hell of a write-up! Unfortunately I see where only a two-band equalizer is being discussed. Wonder what the difference is? Would be worth it to me though as I've already got a back-up coming.

The two-band equalizer is common for supercharged Bonnevilles. My L36 Bonneville had a 7-band eq on its stock head unit. I am pretty sure that the CD player is the exact same thing, so the wiring from it to the board should be the same as well.

THATS AN AMAZING WRITE UP!!!! lol. i must attempt this. to be able to add an ipod interface and a regular aux input is something that i was getting ready to spend almost a grand on (double din GPS video deal lol).
the idea of using the ipod connector will give way superior sound quality compared to using my cassette adapter and the headphone jack lol

Well, you'll still have to use the headphone jack.
Also, save the page or register. Bonneville Forums blocks you out after a while and says that you've run out of guest-appropriated bandwidth.

One things for sure I noticed there are a lot of hook-ups out there for just this type of thing. Even if encountered by a small issue the normal guy should be able to plow right through and make this happen. I would also think that for someone who's detail oriented like myself and doesn't care for unsightly wires this could come out looking pretty clean.
