Looks nice. Those new wheels really sharpen up the car. The factory wheels left a lot to be desired. Lookin' good now, though.
thanks mate yes i am very happy with em ive had 2 other sets on 1st were roh cr2s that i colour coded oz made for u.s.a then imported back here but didnt really suit her
then a set of vt gts factory mags looked good but every other commodore has em on
Looking good!
Just curious, what size the stock throttle body was? And what the "twin" CAI is?
thanks mikeGS
stock t/b is only 60mm i have a spare 65mm that i am getting honed out to 70mm no point going bigger as it will be restricted by the manifold
C.A.I is cold air intake where the filter sits in the air box most guys modify it by cutting a hole in the bay underneath the air box then plumb tubing from the front bumper
down side to this is its very illegal / reduces the strenth of the front and will get water in it
another way is installing a vr vs cold air intake scoop that sits on top of the radiator but to fit this without the bonnet crushing the corners or bulging up is to put unsightly cuts in the top
i have added another factory scoop to the air box my way is legal does not modify the strenth of the car will not get water in down side is air is restricted by headlight slightly but for dyno runs or drag days i just remove the headlight only takes 5 mins 2 plugs and 3 nuts
when the car comes back from the paint shop i will take a pic and show you
