So i just remembered I took some pictures of my car. I need to take more before I potentially someday get rid of it cause the transmission is gonna Xplode someday.
Lucky me my sister took horrible care of what was once a cherry 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Touring Sedan. (1 of 10,000 made) It had about 80k miles on it and everything was in perfect shape, every option was included on this car aside from a cd player. My sister paid about $250 for it and my dad Paid the other $1750 thus my dad had the title. After my sister practically destroyed it over the course of two years, having her friends ram it into curbs, spraying silly string inside of it and apparently replacing tires as they blew out (each one was a different brand) my dad took it away from her and started driving it. So enough chatter here's a few pics:
Oh yea, she also managed to burn up the transmission and now it slips with the vacuum modulator plugged in, so that's plugged and it feels like I have a shift kit in it now!
What do you mean you want more then just pictures of the engine? ... oh... fine...
One thing, after my dad took the car away from her, she still had a set of keys to the car and took it one night to do some errands and brought it back the next morning...
And of course it managed to get in a fender bender with a larger truck. The lady tried to make a U-Turn from the right turn lane >_< and my sister couldn't make a claim on it because she had a warrant out for not paying any of her parking tickets... I don't know how the chassis is still straight on it.
Anyways I have it now after selling my 84' Porsche 944 (bought for $700) I loved that car so much ;__; But I do love this car, that my sister affectionately named Wilbur. I've spent a lot of time cleaning it, and have been driving it for about two years now, it has 155k miles on it and runs perfectly, aside from the transmission of course. What's great about it is that since its the Touring sedan model it corners like a monster for what it is! I eat cute little Civics down the freeway on ramps every now and then, although that Lotus Exige i chased one time was gone before I knew it. >_>
Sorry for the poor pictures, I plan on taking some real ones later.
