A Big Congratulations to Rick Morgan

1999 Firebird rewired with 1998 PCM

Powerdyne Supercharger
INTENSE S1X Camshaft
Stage 3 Heads
42 Pound Injectors
SLP 85 MM Maf

Automatic Transmission.
Both TCC and Shift Schedule Configured for Pulls on the Dyno.

This is by far one of the most challenging tunes I have done. But I would say the results were worth it. There are two things that made this car extremely difficult. First thing is that the MAF is so big that it gave me very little resolution to fine tune the maf causing a not so desirable A/F Curve. However it is safe between low 11's to 11.8. The second thing was the position of the Maf with a sharp bends both in front and after. This caused a couple different challenges. First, the maf signal was very noisey which added to a not so nice a/f curve. A even bigger problem was how it changed the shape of the MAF Transfer Function. The maf required almost a 100% increase in Airflow by 8500 hertz.

What is important is his car came in 217 hp and extremely lean from another shop who tuned it before. A 100 hp increase is welcome any day.

Thanks again Rick.

Holy ship Brian! Hell of a job on a trouble child car. Shows not only you know WTF your doing, but do it better than anyone, care about each car, and tune them for their application. Excellent job! Most impressed I have been seeing your tunes (other than the 700-800hp+ Intense tripplets)

kudos to all. cant imagine the owners face leaving the shop.
