C0035 Right Front Tone Wheel (Subfault)

On my GXP, I had been getting a bad speed sensor code so I replaced the hub assembly/speed sensor yesterday (front right). After I was done, I am getting the C0035 Right Front Tone Wheel (Subfault) code. I got the more expensive Moog hub assembly thinking it would last a long time. Does any one have any ideas of what else it might be? Or do I get a new hub.

The old sensor failed due to the harness connection fell out of the factory clip and wore on the CV shaft down to bare copper. Did this do some damage elsewhere in the system?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That code description is wrong. Most of the generic scan/code readers lead you on a wild goose chase. Just looked at my shop info at that code is an open or short at RT FRONT SENSOR. If your scan tool can display "live data", take a test drive to over 40mph and also try some slow speed sharp/ turns. During this drive watch for all four speed sensors numbers. The ones erratic or way off are probably bad. BUT, my first question is, did you check with the supplier and make sure you actually got the correct part? Assuming there is no damage to the "body side" of the sensor wiring in question, the problem is most likely the hub/sensor assy. Good luck, Jake L.
