Belt routing

(edit - i posted this in the cooling section cause it involves the electric water pump which is the only belt rerouting topic i can think of)

Just wondering what people have done with their belts. I was curious if anyone knows if it's possible to route the belt from the crank -> tensioner -> alternator assuming you have an electric water pump. No A/C or power steering. Power steering pump would be removed completely to allow the wheels to turn freely w/o the hydraulic interference. A/C would only be hooked up in the summer when not at the track.

I don't see how you could do it in stock form without the ps pump. You could if you made a tensioner and located it where the pump use to be.
