Hi everyone,
A few months ago, I posted a few messages regarding the design of some hand fabricated 3800 valve covers we were working on. Well, although it took us a little longer than expected, we've come up with two design options (offered in both natural & polished aluminum finish) and we're pretty happy with how they turned out. I've had a set of the #1001's (first pictures below) installed on my 95 Bonneville SE for just short of 10,000 miles and have experienced no leaks or problems of any sort. We're also working on some other ideas and continue to welcome your thoughts for improving our current designs, as well as ideas for future products.
A little bit of info about our valve covers:
• Hand Fabricated 6061T6 & Billet Aluminum Construction
• 3/8" Billet Rails with CNC machined gasket surface designed to fit stock-style gaskets
• Stainless Steel hardware kit & Fel-Pro #VS50080R Permadry molded rubber gaskets included
• 2 1/4" Inside height (1/4" taller than stock)
• 2” diameter oil fill tube with heavy duty CNC machined anodized aluminum cap
• Greatly improved mounting bolt access over stock covers
• Available fully polished with mirror-like finish
• 100% Hand Crafted in the U.S.A.
• 1 Year warranty against manufacturer defects

Retail Pricing for the valve covers is as follows by part #:
#1001 - $339.99
#1101 - $419.99 (polished aluminum finish)
#1002 - $379.99 **higher cost due to added build cost for this design**
#1102 - $449.99 (polished aluminum finish) **higher cost due to added build cost for this design**
Obviously, we realize that these are not the cheapest fabricated valve covers on the market for the 3800. These however, do not require custom gaskets (stock style Felpro gaskets included), and utilize a billet rail instead of the weaker rolled edge design like the competition. Bottom line is that these valve covers were built to last. There is no reason why they shouldn’t be the last set of valve covers you ever have to buy for your engine.
