S1 and S1X Camshaft

I was just wondering what were the differences Intense made on the S1X cam compaired to the S1 cam?

Also,

How much more of a gain do you get from the S2 cam over the S1X?

unless you get the heads worked, you can't run a S2. You are better off with the S1X.

Agreed, I think the stage 1 was prior to the s1x. I believe all that Intense offers is the s1x. I really enjoy mine. It makes the car move

i was just curious because i read somewhere on this forum that you can run a stage two on stock heads.

i did buy the s1x and its already in the block im putting togeather.

S1x sounds fine at idle. A tad loopy when you start the car, but as the car warms up it mellows out. I would recomend poly motor mounts. Less engine movement and more power to the ground. The mount will enhance the rough idle a bit but nothing to worry about.

I've seen them around. Just can't think of where right now. Try a google search?.........P.S. how is the SLP CAI working for you?
