Arrow A few questions about head work

I am planning on doing a home p+p job on a set of heads for my car. A few questions:

Is a lot of bowl work worth it, or should I just clean them up?

Would it be worth getting oversized exhaust valves? Something like 1.55" valves?

Is it necessary to use ARP head studs, or are stock fine?

I'm planning on definitely gasket/port matching the heads, cleaning them up, and that fun stuff. I'm also getting a 3-angle valve job done. I just want to make sure that these heads will have a little better flow to assist with the VS cam and Ported SC I'll be adding. I am open to all suggestions, so feel free.

Lots of HP in those bowls. Probably the (in my opinion) most important part of head work. But, not something most people try and do at home . They do need to be all the same. A little home polishing on the ports along with gasket matching is pretty safe to do yourself. Be care full not to get carried away. I imagine you will using a die grinder. With course pads you can have a real mess on your hands very quickly. They remove alot of stock very quickly. Even the slightest divet in the ports can cause flow inconsistancies. If you've never P&P heads before you might want to consider having it done professionally.
