Badges
Hello again all, been awhile since I was here but I figured if anyone could be of some reasonable measure of help it would probably be here. I have a '96 Riviera and where I live I rarely see others. I am not a fan of most Japanese cars but I do like the Euro cars and something both of them do that I kind of like are the cool badges/appearance items. I recently saw a Volvo 850 wagon on YouTube that had a sticker on the front lip representing the Nurburgring and it had a Heico sticker on the back instead of the normal Volvo due to being a Hecio modified 850. BMW is famous for stuff like this, such as a Nowack N635 which instead of saying BMW M5 on the back they replace the BMW logo with a Nowack logo and it says N635 on the back instead of M5 - or the Alpina B7 7-series which says that instead of the normal BMW 750i or whatever that it would normally say.
What I want is something from the Buick or GM line-up that would be appropriate on my car. The best one I had thought of would be the GS/GranSport badge from an older Buick - since it doesn't particularly indicate anything to someone (And isn't inappropriate with brand relation - it would look stupid if I stuck any SS badge on my Riviera since that's a Chevy thing). Is there anything of that nature I could do that would look unique on my car? Another one I thought might look cool would be a sticker on the top of my front bumper with the displacement numbers in CID (Inspiration coming from the older S281 Saleens which had erm - the number 203 outlined on the front of the bumper I think) - so I'd have outlined numbers on the top of the bumper on the driver side that said 231 and nothing else. It seems like something obscure enough that it wouldn't be like just putting a sticker on the car that said 3.8L V6 or something that I have seen other people do. Any clue where you could find such styles of stickers suitable for automotive use?
Any other Buick ideas for badges or appearance things (Mostly along the subtle line) that would just kind of make my car look unique? I like the GS badge idea because you could maybe say it's a Riviera GS - they never made one but who's to say someone else doesn't think it might have been a limited factory option? I wouldn't run around saying it's a Riviera GS but it is a kind of neat idea in that sense I think.
